Employment Law
Building on 18 years experience with employment law cases in large companies, non-profit and religious organizations and small businesses, my colleagues and I can offer the following to in house counsel, defense and plaintiffs’ attorneys:
- Case Consultation: whether to prevent a lawsuit or resolve a case currently in litigation, a confidential case evaluation and consultation will frame key dynamics and possible settlement strategies.
- Training: Based on CLE courses offered for ADR Sections in Texas, Maryland and other states, and in house programs at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Shell North America and other organizations, these courses present tools that attorneys can use to prepare for negotiation, mediation, arbitration or litigation.
- Mediation: following the model in my book, When Push Comes to Shove, we can provide neutrals for resolution of employment disputes.
- Systems Design and Evaluation: this consulting service draws on templates that have been proven effective in reducing transaction costs in large companies, described also in Controlling the Costs of Conflict (Jossey-Bass).
When requested, we are able to arrange CLE credit through partnerships with participating law schools and ADR sections of local bar associations.
To explore how you might make best use of one or more of these services provided by me or someone in my network, please call or send me an email to set up a confidential telephone consultation.
